The Dean Ornish Diet is a heart-healthy diet designed by Dr. Dean Ornish, a renowned heart doctor. His diet, which is published in a book entitled Eat More, Weight Less, comes from his research into ways to remove blockages in the heart. Before his research came out, the only way to remove these blockages was through surgery or medication. However, the Dean Ornish Diet appears to help reverse these blockages and help heal other cardiovascular diseases.
